Balinese cooking class Fri 16/02/18 6pm - approx 10.30pm




    Balinese  Hands on Cooking Class



    The flavours of the Asian spice islands have tantalised people for centuries, since they were at the start of the powerful spice trade. This underrated cuisine contains an astonishing variety of dishes. Spice Bazaar have travelled and researched extensively, and we are proud to deliver to you an exciting menu of these exotic secrets!

     With beautiful Balinese photos and music in the background, be transported to this magical island and it's hands on as you prepare, cook, and lunch on five traditional celebratory dishes, served with matched wine or, perhaps more authentically, Bintang.

    To whet your appetite, here’s the menu:

    • krupuks
    • chicken skewers
    • peanut sauce

    kaffir lime ginger rockling in banana leaf, mango salsa
    • Balinese spiced pork, seared bok choy
    • succulent beef rendang
    • lawar - bean salad

    • black sticky rice, palm sugar, salted cream

    Due to the nature of taking part in a group activity, however, it is unfeasible to omit certain ingredients from all dishes in a class.
    Some of our classes are more appropriate than others for those with dietary requirements - please contact us for furhter information on suitability of class menus.
